As a “retired” Division I/Division III collegiate athlete competing in women’s hockey, a past competitive Crossfit athlete, and a certified yoga instructor, Kirsten understands the importance and value of a strong mind and body on overall training, performance, and well-being. Because of her athletic experience, she has continued her education to better serve athletes through additional training in acupuncture sports medicine. Conditions treated with great success are: sciatica, knee pain, tendonitis, shoulder mobility issues, low back weakness and pain, neck tension, neuropathies, IT Band tightness, hamstring dysfunction, etc.
Kirsten helps her patients understand the many tools available to whole body health and healing, many of which can be utilized day-to-day in their own homes and on their own terms, with the help of herbal remedies and supplements, movement, stretching, diet, rest, and other strategies. She is passionate about acupuncture and other therapies, such as chiropractic, massage, craniosacral, and reiki—her highest goal is to help you in creating a healthy life.
Kirsten’s kind heart and passion, along with her education, skill, and experience, will show to be both effective and enjoyable!
